Triumphant Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and in the divine Spirit that makes us all sons and daughters through Triumph the Church and Kingdom of God in Christ, church of the first born as revealed to Elias Dempsey Smith, for the new age.

I believe in the Holy Ghost that leads us to Christ, the Wisdom and Power of God, the incarnated spirit of the new world, to deliver the body from the power of death and ransom from the grave into life eternal.

 The Words:  I was called of God to this work of Christ’s Kingdom, October 20, 1897.  He gave Father Smith this Church, January 20, 1902.  He told me November 23, 1918, to go and tell the white people to loose the black people and let them go, for He has need for them.  This dedicated Elder, whose prayer time was every third hour on one occasion traveled across the Mississippi River. After this Prayer session terminated, Elder Smith returned by the same ferryboat to his chosen field.  This momentous occasion in which God revealed how he created the world and al therein, and also how man was created to live forever and never die.  Elder Smith responded to God by saying “the people would not believe.”  However, God reassured our elder “all of people will accept.”

The Vision: The vision was as follows:  Upon gazing upwards, an eagle soaring in the sky was seen.  As its flight approached the earth the eagle changed to a lion.  Then the vision changed to a brown-skinned damsel.  The Spirit commanded Elder Smith to marry this damsel.  The meaning of the vision is as follows:  The Eagle represents the highest type of achievement and she also never allows intrusion between itself and the sun.  Likewise, the true church does not allow any intrusion between herself and God.  The Lion, as we know is king, which means the most powerful creature in the land.  We come now to the Brown-Skinned Damsel.  She means Holiness and purity.  Thus the beginning of Triumph the Church and Kingdom of God in Christ.
